About the Book

From the moment Christ was crucified, a crack in the fabric of the human spirit was formed which has continued to grow. It is this crack, which has distorted the reflection of His Light throughout the soul of mankind. A crack, which has created more than 24,000 different Christian sects and denominations, let alone other religious belief systems. A crack which refracts and distorts His True Likeness, and therefore repels those who would otherwise seek His light through the physical lens of those of us who lips profess one thing, but whose actions move in contradiction to His Word. As a result, many people seeking a relationship with Jesus have become disengaged, and thus turn away from the body of Christ.

The collective spirit of the human race is in need of healing. In order for the collective spirit to become whole and the crack sealed, healing is required to repair the damaged soul of each individual. As with a mesh woven chain, the overall strength of the chain is only as strong as the weakest links. The time has come for the human race to take a quantum leap forward in our societal and spiritual evolution.

"I SEE THAT YOU ARE DOWN, BUT WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET UP?" chronicles the trials and tribulations I encountered during my transition from boyhood to manhood through the transformative powers of Christ and the Holy Spirit within us all. We are far more than our parental DNA, and far greater than the product of our environment. We have far more in common within the human experience than we are willing to accept. The three primary causes of conflict chronicled throughout history have been based upon racial division, religious intolerance, and those who seek to control the resources of this planet God created for us all to share.

As a student of history and follower of the teaching of Jesus Christ, I have come to understand that there is nothing new under the sun. Unless we all strive to live a balanced life whereby our mind, body and spirit work in unison to bring forth inner peace, inner turmoil will bring forth external conflict into our environment.
